Sligo School of Rock is delighted to welcome singer-guitarist Dave Flynn to the Faculty. Wexfordman Dave moved to Sligo in 2011 to join with his colleagues in the popular Sligo band Anything Goes, which has welcomed him as a full time member and whose Friday night Hargadons residency has to be one of the most popular in Ireland right now.
Dave has been a full-time musician since 2003, and has played and recorded (on both guitar and bass) with Paddy Casey, Dave Couse and The Impossibles, The Guggenheim Grotto, Edwyn Collins and many others. He also fronts a blues band, Cold Shot (a Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute band).
Dave has starred on guitar and vocals in the acclaimed production “An Evening with Sgt Pepper” and is an experienced music instructor having delivered a wide variety of projects nationwide with Songschool (Ireland’s largest provider of music-related workshops) from 2005-2011.
Dave joins Glenn Garret as guitar and bass tutor in Sligo School of Rock.
